Is MyTrainYatri the official IRCTC or Indian Railways website?
No. MyTrainYatri is an independent, third-party information tool built by Gramin Mitra. It is not affiliated with IRCTC or Indian Railways, and it does not sell or book train tickets — it only shows PNR, live status, schedule and fare information.
Do I need to log in to check PNR status or live train status?
No login is needed to search PNR status, live train running status, station live board or train schedule. Creating a free account is optional and only needed for extra features like a saved-trips dashboard, passenger list and notifications.
How accurate is the live train running status?
Live train status is pulled from the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) at the time you search, so it reflects the latest available position and delay data. Since train movement can change quickly, it's best to re-check close to your travel time.
What does PNR status tell me?
PNR status shows your current booking and seat/berth confirmation status — for example Confirmed, RAC or Waitlisted — along with coach, berth and chart preparation details for that PNR.
When is the reservation chart prepared?
The reservation chart is usually prepared a few hours before the train's departure from its originating station. Once the chart is prepared, waitlisted PNRs are finalised and any confirmed seat/berth is locked in.
Can I check coach position and platform for my train?
Yes — the Coach Position tool shows where each coach will stop along the platform, and Station Info shows live arrivals/departures and platform numbers at a given station.
Is MyTrainYatri free to use?
Yes. All core lookup tools — PNR status, live train status, station info, coach position, seat availability, fare calculator and train schedule — are free to use.

Tatkal booking kab khulti hai?
AC classes ke liye subah 10:00 baje aur Non-AC classes ke liye subah 11:00 baje, journey date se ek din pehle.
PNR status kitni der mein update hota hai?
PNR status har kuch minute mein refresh hota hai, jab tak chart prepare na ho jaaye.
